Top Reads Of The Week: Finish Strong, Start Stronger

Wow! What a turbulent year it has been!

2020 really feels like sitting in an airplane going through choppy skies, with all of us strapped in our seats waiting for the seatbelt lights to turn off and the captain to announce that the worst is over and we’ll be reaching our destination soon. But this isn’t the case for many of us.

In reality, we are indeed the pilots of our own flights, and we are shortly landing on the runway with a new horizon awaiting. A vision of 2021. With the struggles and challenges that made us stronger as professionals as well as together as an organization, this is not the time to slow down. Instead, with the momentum of us performing at our peak, let us dive straight into the new year steadfast, with clarity and zealousness.

Here I have three articles I would love to share with everyone on how we can end this year strong and enter the next even stronger.

How To Lead In A Crisis | The Way We Work, A TED Series

Lest we forget, as leaders, it is our responsibility to lead the charge in tackling the problems and challenges we face daily. This week, I have a short video to share with everyone. A reminder that being transparent and communicating with our teams is far more vital than to hide in the shadows of our leadership, pretending everything will be all right once the situation settles down. Do give the video a watch. I’m sure it’ll benefit you as it did for me.

With that said, I would like to wish everyone a well-deserved year-end rest and to starting the new year strong. Take care!

We are in the Skills Business!

Through recruitment, training and consulting, Timeo-Performance provides solutions for increased performance of companies, teams, and individuals. As our clients are in the center of global business and often serve the APAC region, our solutions need to be sustainable in a multicultural and remote context.

Our joint venture with Akteos, the European leader in intercultural training, and partnership with digital learning solutions provider CrossKnowledge have therefore been organic and logical additions to our service. Timeo-Performance has been helping companies in APAC increase business performance since 2008 with offices in Singapore, Malaysia, and Hong Kong.

We love what we do, feel the Timeo-Performance experience!

As busy professionals, our schedules are often filled to the brim with meetings and tasks to complete. We can get so caught up with work that we might even forget our all-important lunch and power through dinner as well. Alas, we can only do so much given the 24 hours we have in a day. While time management is vital, being productive is another matter in its entirety.Enter time batching.
